Former Minister of Social Development Susan Shabangu has resigned as an African National Congress Member of Parliament.
On Thursday parliament confirmed the latest resignation of an MP of the ruling party.
Last year when President Cyril Ramaphosa took over from Former president Jacob Zuma he had appointed Shabangu as minister of Social Development.
Following the 2019 National elections in May, Shabangu was not included in President Ramaphosa's cabinet.
Shabangu is the fourth minister to resign from their MP post, last week Jeff Radebe resigned on Wednesday Nomaindia Mfeketo resigned and earlier on Thursday former state security minister Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba resigned.
