The North Gauteng High Court granted President Cyril Ramaphosa an urgent interim interdict with regards to Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s report on his political funding.
The interdict halts the implementation of the remedial action Mkhwebane recommended in her report, which claimed that Ramaphosa had misled parliament over payments from Bosasa to his 2017 political campaign.

"Advocate Busi Mkhwebane is interdicted from enforcing the remedial orders pending the final determination of the review application," read the draft order.
Part of the remedial action ordered by the Public Protector is that Ramaphosa had to disclose all his funders. However, this has now been suspended following the President's judicial review on Mkhwebane’s original report.
